Donington Football Club is a well organised football facility that provides a source of competitive football for men, boys and girls of the local community. Our home is situated in the village of Donington which lies approximately 8 (eight) miles north of the market town of Spalding on the A152. The Club runs 2 open age football teams 'Old Doningtonians' for those over the age of 16, these teams playing in the Saturday Boston League. The Club also runs 'Young Dons' (established in 1996) which offers a quality and safe environment for children from the age of 7 to under 16 to enjoy and develop their game of football, these teams playing in the Mid-Lincs Junior League.

Young Dons has now met all the criteria set out by the F.A. for the prestigious 'FA Charter Standard Award. 10 club members have successfully achieved the FA level 1 coaching course, with another 10 shortly to attend the course. Young Dons has of course adopted the FA Child Protection Policy and supports a strong Code of Conduct.
